Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WithEase Africa website (witheaseafrica.com) and platform (app.witheaseafrica.com), operated by WithEase Africa ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

WithEase Africa provides digital tools for organising documents, tracking regulatory compliance, calculating taxes, governing organisations and building a Trust Score. The platform is an organisation and information tool — it is not a law firm, accounting firm or tax adviser, and nothing on the platform constitutes legal, tax or financial advice. For decisions with legal or financial consequences, consult a qualified professional.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for safeguarding access to your email account, which is used to sign in.
• You are responsible for the actions of members you invite into your entity and the roles you grant them.

3. Your content

You retain full ownership of the documents and data you upload. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process and display them back to you and the members you authorise. You are responsible for having the right to upload the content you store.

4. Trust Score

The Trust Score is computed from your verified activity on the platform. It is an indicator, not a guarantee — we make no promise that any lender, donor, partner or agency will act on it. Attempting to manipulate scores through false information is a breach of these Terms.

5. Subscriptions and payment

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in Nigerian Naira through our payment processor.
• New paid subscriptions may include a free trial. When a trial ends, paid features pause until you subscribe.
• Current prices are always displayed on our pricing page before you pay. Prices may change; changes apply from your next billing period, never retroactively.
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: break the law; upload malicious code; attempt to access other tenants' data; misrepresent your identity or organisation; use the platform to send spam; or interfere with the service's operation. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where practicable.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify features with reasonable notice for material changes. Keep your own copies of critical original documents — the platform is a vault, not a substitute for originals required by regulators.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for penalties, fines or losses arising from your own filings, deadlines or regulatory obligations.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. On closure, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We may terminate accounts for material breach of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
